CustomPrintedDiscs.com Privacy Policy

Privacy for Your Email Address

Customers who provide us with their email address may receive transactional emails from CustomPrintedDiscs.com or our parent company, Media Distributors. These types of emails could include invoices, shipping confirmations, notices about changes in our standard services like longer office or Will Call hours, or a welcome message. These types of emails are to keep you updated about your account or changes in policy that would affect your services.

In addition to these transactional emails, you may elect to receive emails about special offers from CustomPrintedDiscs.com and Media Distributors.  You can sign up to receive these emails when you request a quote from our Web site or when you place an order by phone. (Your sales rep will ask for your permission before adding you to our email list.) You can change your mind and "opt-out" of receiving these emails at any time. Because we understand how important your privacy is to you, we make the following three promises:

  1. Your email address will not be bought or sold. When you give us permission to send you email, that permission is nontransferable.
  2. We will try our best to make our emails relevant to your organization and your needs. Sometimes we'll have to guess, but we'll base these guesses on what you've told us about your industry, questions you've asked us or the products you've purchased from us. When you give us permission to send you email, it is for your benefit not ours. We'll keep that in mind and try to give you info on the products and services you would like.
  3. We will give you our respect. We will always try to keep our promises, be honest with you and value the trust you have shown us.  Our phone number, Web address and a contact email address is included in every email we send to you, because communication is a two-way street.

Privacy and Cookies

By now, we're all pretty familiar with the use of cookies. Cookies are tiny little snippets of code we place on your computer when you visit our site. We use this in two ways. The first way is for tracking the overall movements of site visitors so we know what pages generate the most visits, the longest visits and the most response from our visitors. This is done through our analytics provider and we're not using it to identify you personally. It's just to help us count stuff, generate trend data and make our site more meaningful. The second way we use cookies is to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your visits to our website. We all of this with cookies provided by Google and Double Click. If you want, you can opt-out of all this Google tracking stuff.
